The LogoExplainedMy initials are E.F. which is why I decided to go with Echo Fox for my anonymous photography account name. I chose my logo to represent my favorite aircraft, the F-16. Representing power, precision, and freedom, I thought it was the perfect aircraft to use as I capture the power of our military, and aviation in general.
I was fortunate to capture a beautiful photo of an F-16 on its final descent in the midst of a heavy snowfall, and it turned out to be one of my favorite shots so far in my photography career. I used the image, turned it into a simple vector, and created the first version of the Echo Fox logo.
It made sense to make the Echo Fox logo into a fox face, made from the airframe of an F-16.
This photo was the perfect angle for the logo concept I had in mind. I wanted the logo to be made from images that I took, making it my own creation, in every way.
I vectorized the image, simplified it, and added the original fox logo onto the tail, along with some flare from the afterburners.
Finally, after some trial and error, I decided I liked the patch look, and thought it made sense with my photography work. Introducing, the final Echo Fox logo!
